Host music stored on your iPhone.

Use music files stored on or transferred to your iPhone—files you own or can import into Lunevo. Offline downloads inside Apple Music, Spotify, or similar subscription apps cannot be imported.

Path note: AirPlay sessions need a supported GL.iNet portable router running Lunevo OS. Direct local-file sessions use an iPhone as the host instead; joining without an existing Wi-Fi network is available only between iOS devices.

The setup is easy

One source feeds the local session. Each phone listens through its own output, including a Bluetooth speaker or a wired connection.

Lunevo coordinates shared timing, then exposes per-listener controls for Bluetooth speakers, long rooms, and other output paths that introduce an echo.

Volume and mute per listener

In router sessions, the iOS admin can adjust each listener’s volume, mute, and delay independently. These are listener-level controls, not one global volume.

Delay trim per device

Use the timing control when a listener arrives late—Bluetooth is a common reason. The correction is saved for that listener and can be adjusted again.

Start calibration on iOS

An iOS admin or Direct host can start a short microphone measurement. Lunevo suggests listener delays for review; room noise, speaker placement, and the listening setup affect the result, so it is a starting point rather than a guarantee.

in your hands.

For iOS Direct sessions, the local library turns music files you choose into a device-local collection. The iOS host can shape what plays next without breaking the session.

Import once

Choose music files stored on or transferred to your iPhone—files you own or can import. Lunevo keeps an app copy with title, artist, duration, artwork, and playlist membership. Subscription-app offline downloads cannot be imported.

Shape what is next

Play a playlist, seek, move upcoming tracks earlier or later, remove them, or shuffle only songs that have not started. The current song stays put.

DIRECT SESSIONS

Let listeners vote

Only iOS participants in an iOS Direct session with local files can vote. They choose from the next five tracks; the highest vote advances next, with queue order breaking ties.

Queue and seek controls above describe iOS Direct local-file playback. Voting is narrower: it is only for iOS participants in those Direct sessions—not Android, router/AirPlay sessions, or live input. Broadcast Audio Input is live: it has pause/resume but no seek, queue, or voting controls.

Connect a class-compliant USB-C audio interface or line source to an iPhone and choose Broadcast Audio Input. Lunevo sends it through a Direct stream for nearby listeners. Live input has no seek, queue, or voting.

Useful for a mixer, instrument, microphone, or other live source.

Turn off direct monitoring or interface loopback so you do not hear an unsynchronized duplicate.

Calibration is started on iOS and briefly switches to the iPhone’s built-in microphone, then restores the USB input.

Local by design

The useful parts
stay close.

Lunevo uses the local network for discovery, control, and audio. Nearby iOS devices can also connect without joining an existing Wi-Fi network; that Apple peer-to-peer path is iOS-only. There is no Lunevo account to create and no cloud audio service in the middle of a session.

Nothing to sign into

No account, advertising, analytics, tracking, or location history. A device name and local settings stay on the devices where you use them.

NO CLOUD AUDIO

Audio stays local

Direct sessions, imported files, live input, and calibration are exchanged or analyzed locally. Lunevo LLC cannot access or retain that audio.

OFF-GRID READY

Internet is optional during playback

Once local source audio is available, the supported GL.iNet portable router running Lunevo OS and listeners can communicate without internet. Streaming apps still need internet to fetch music.

Microphone access is only used when you start calibration or live input. Imported music and playlists are stored on the iOS device; they are not uploaded to Lunevo.

Android is listener-only: it does not host Direct sessions, set up a router, administer other listeners, or start calibration.
